Mama Reset: 6 weeks to Clarity programme

Having kids and running a business is wild. I’m in the thick of it. Shall we do it together?

Waitlist for UK Self-employed mums to join the next small group cohort is now open. Add your email address here to be first in the queue. I’ll contact this list before opening the doors or posting on socials.

Mama Reset: A season of re-planting your purpose

I want to help support self-employed, business-owning mums forge a career on their own terms, re-balance gender norms within parenthood and enjoy motherhood in this very specific season of life.

ARE ANY OF THESE THINGS YOU?👇🏼

  • Identity crisis post-having a baby - What do I like? What am I good at?

  • Overwhelm and confusion when routines change and more time comes along e.g. ‘where the hell so I start?’

  • Confidence dip from being ‘out of action’ on maternity leave

  • Slipping into traditional gender roles that feel unfair and uncomfortable (domestic household chores, emotional labour, childcare and school admin).

  • Experiencing the Gender pay gap post-babies (not acceptable)

  • No ‘Village’ support when we live in cities, away from family support - bringing up young kids can be gruelling with no help and expensive childcare.

  • Feeling a lack of community with other women going through this (but know they must be out there!)

  • Struggling to manage energy and time when combining motherhood, general life and business

  • In a cycle of under-earning after having a break to have a baby. The break might have made your partner the highest earner, so their work time continues to be prioritised even after maternity leave.

  • In a traditional job that doesn’t allow you to be the mother you want to be (i.e. being present with kids, sick days, able to do school pick-ups etc) therefore you want to start a business that works around your life (not the other way around).

WHAT YOU’LL GET:

  • Re-focused purpose and energy

  • A fresh approach to business & motherhood that doesn’t promote burnout and being a frazzled human, weaving both together

  • Clear and actionable next steps for a new or existing business

  • A real sense of connection and COMMUNITY with other soul-led women.

  • Accountability for imperfection action over indecision and stagnancy

I want women to continue to pursue their dreams after having kids. There are a lot of unfair obstacles in our way when we become mothers that need addressing.

Let’s come together to share tools to keep or start a beautiful creative business or career - whilst avoiding burnout and still being the parents we want to be.

This isn’t about ‘having it all’, it’s about re-assessing what’s important, pruning and letting go of the rest - for this specific chapter of your life.

WHAT THE PROGRAMME LOOKS LIKE

1 - Taking Stock & Pruning

2- Re-designing & Planting your Garden

(part one: Time, Money, Business)

(part two: Body, Mind, Energy, Home & Partnership + Clarity Plan building)

3 - How to Deal with Stormy Weather

Within each section we’ll be looking at Time, Energy, Relationships, Body&Mind, Money & Business - each section is juicy! By the end of Session 3 we’ll come out with a Clarity Plan with detailed, practical and achievable next steps across the board.

Alongside the sessions there is space for us to generally stay in touch to support one another, share things we find, with weekly accountability check-ins too.

PRICING

The next group cohort will be highly discounted from the full course price of £2000. TBC but it will be around 60% off. All I’ll ask is for feedback and a testimonial at the end. The group is purposefully kept small so I can give you the most support and get to know all of you individually, in order to make personal, tailored suggestions.

WHO IT’S FOR

  • Self-employed or business-owning mums from anywhere in the UK that want to get a Clarity-filled action plan for next steps, weaving in motherhood, wellbeing and creativity.

  • Currently thinking this is best placed for women with children who have some childcare support - so children aged 9months upto any Primary school age.

  • Women that want to be part of a community and form meaningful connections with other mums in the same situation.

  • Mums leaving their employment to start a new business who want to be held and supported through that transition.

WHO IT’S NOT FOR

  • Women going back to the same job after maternity leave (that they want to stay in)

  • People that want a ‘perfect’ course. I’ll still be working some things out as I focus on (and model) action-taking over perfectionism.

My story & background

After another period of ‘WTF am I doing with my life’; indecision, identity crises, procrastination, and a side helping of both shiny object & imposter syndromes(!) I decided to use my creative experience and design brain to create something that would help me perform the ultimate reset on my life.

I was floundering with my next steps after more childcare became available after having my second daughter. I had more time but didn’t know where to start, what I liked, what I was even good at anymore!

I read a lot of personal development books and a few courses but that just became confusing noise and I needed to find a clear route through the overwhelm - SPECIFICALLY holding space for being a Mother and the giant identity-rocking of Matrescence.

I wanted community and to connect with other women in a similar situation but felt isolated instead. Friends that had babies around the same time were going back to their same jobs and that path felt well worn - still hard - but more common.

I also watched from the sidelines as many amazing creative, trail-blazing women gave up their businesses or careers because combining it with motherhood was too hard and felt too much - it felt like a huge signal that something needed to be done. Cue, Mama Reset.

A methodology and intentional structure to help mums find clarity and balance in their life and business.

My goal over the next few years is to advocate for a working culture that supports us as mothers, and doesn’t try to ignore it.

A way that recognises that yes, we want to make decent money and aim for financial freedom, but we don’t want to sacrifice our wellbeing, or that of our families whilst doing it.

We want more time to be with our families, and the time we spend working we want to feel purposeful, aligned and joyful.
