ARTIST

I’m passionate about making art that takes place outside traditional institutions and creates real meaning and memories for everyday people.

That means work that focuses on interactivity, live-ness and connection - exploring what connects us as human beings.

I’ve presented work at SPILL National Review of Live Art, BAC, Forest Fringe, Deptford X, The Late Shows Newcastle, The Basement Brighton, Camden People’s Theatre, RichMix, The Bluecoat, Barbican Plymouth, Shoreditch Town Hall, Queen’s Hall Hexham, Whitstable Biennale Satellite and on the streets of Manhattan via Art in Odd Places.

As well as delivering my own projects, I have been commissioned by a wide range of partners including NewcastleGateshead Initiative, Juice festival, Enchanted Parks, bait and The Empty Space.

In 2019 I joined the  Freelance Artist at Baltic Centre for Contemporary Arts and have worked with many different groups as a workshop facilitator.

My background in set design means I often call upon these skills in my work, creating whole immersive environments and interactive encounters. Many of my projects have taken place in empty buildings, bringing them back to life for creative and cultural purposes.
