From September 2017 Amy worked with producers The Empty Space to deliver the 'Colour To The Grey' project - commissioned by BAIT and funded by Arts Council England.

They met over 70 young people exploring how live art and art activism could attempt to make a real, solid, social change.

A leadership group of 8 young people from different places in the area formed and were put at the heart of every decision on the project, eventually culminating in taking over an empty shop and an old pub in Blyth town centre for 5 days of Art, Activism & Wellbeing to engage directly with their community and explore the idea of citizenship in multiple forms.

Each leader was mentored by Amy to make their own artworks across installation, performance, video, craft, writing and interactive encounters.

The group’s Instagram can be found out @colourtothegrey and the full story behind the work is here www.colourtothegrey.com
